Hard Candy Glitter Eyeshadow in Ammo Review, Pictures, Swatches

Please Read: I am not paid by any cosmetic companies to review any of these products. Everything I review is bought by me, and I will always give a %100 honest review.
  • Packaging:  Comes in a cute white doughnut pan. I think it looks really cute, but there was a problem with opening it. You need to place your thumb near the center and slide it out- BUT mine kept getting stuck. So it's a little dificult to slide open, but I ended up getting it after a few tries.
  • Product: The actual product is VERY creamy and lightweight. The formula is very fluffy and has a good texture. I appled Ammo to my lid and crease with my finger @ 2:55 PM and did a check on it after 10 minutes. At 3:05 PM there was definitely some creasing going on, which was a red flag in my books. This product needs either a primer as a base, or maybe an eyeshadow or eyeliner as a base for it to work properly in your crease. This product actually has good staying power, which was definitely a plus.
    • Ammo:  is a light apple green shade of glitter.
  • Dupes:  N.A.
  • Final Thoughts: If you're trying out Hard Candy for the first time and are looking to be impressed, I don't think you should go out and try this specific product. It's not necessarily a BAD product, but if you generally have oily skin/ eyelids this is a bad product to choose. I think I would use this product again, but I'm not sure if I would go buy it again.

Urban Decay's Chronic & Jones Eyeshadows: Review, Swatches

Please Read: I am not paid by any cosmetic companies to review any of these products. Everything I review is bought by me, and I will always give a %100 honest review.
  • Packaging:  These eyeshadows come in the traditional UD pot packaging. I adore the packaging because it's so unique compared to other companies' packaging, and it's still durable.
  • Product: These are both nicely pigmented colours from UD. The formulas are VERY smooth/velvety. They're also very long lasting even without a primer.
    • Chronic: is a matte grass green shade. In the pan, you can see bits of shimmer, but when you apply it, no glitter shows up. It comes in the bronze version of UD's packaging.
    • Jones: is a shimmery, creamy orange shade. This colour is perfect for summer, it works well with more warm shades.
  • Dupes: Jones is very similar to UD's Free Love. Chronic is very similar to Inglot's #385, although #385 is slightly darker.
  • Final Thoughts: These are VERY impressive! They were actually my first UD eyeshadow purchases, and I truly am happy with these purchases. I will definitely be buying them again!

MAC Cosmetic's Lipglass

Please Read: I am not paid by any cosmetic companies to review any of these products. Everything I review is bought by me, and I will always give a %100 honest review.
  • Packaging: The lipglasses come in cute lipgloss tubes with black caps. These are a little longer than the height of a MAC lipstick, but are also skinnier. I think the size of these tubes make it really easy to store.
  • Product: The lipglass has awesome pigmentation, thats for sure. The formula feels thick, and very glossy. It gives a high shine impact which I like. It feels very moisturizing to lips. The only thing I find that I didn't like too much was the stickyness- although it's hard to find a gloss that isn't sticky.
    • Hush, Hush Rose: is a shimmery, hot pink shade.
  • Final Thoughts: These lipglasses are awesome! This is the first one I've ever owned so I'm excited to use this in a look. I love the shine and highly pigmented formula, so I definitely will be buying more of these.

MAC Cosmetic's Jealousy Wakes Review, Pictures, Swatches

Please Read: I am not paid by any cosmetic companies to review any of these products. Everything I review is bought by me, and I will always give a %100 honest review.
  • Packaging:  This eyeshadow comes in the traditional pot packaging. These pots are durable and easy to store AND to depot.
  • Product: This is a really well pigmented eyeshadow. It's long lasting like other MAC eyeshadows.
    • Sunblonde:  is an emerald green with teal and gold shimmer. It has a veluxe pearl finish.
  • Final Thoughts: This eyeshadow was actually the only one I was interested in in the Blogger's Obsession collection. I LOVE this specific colour, and I'm super excited to use it in a look!

MAC Lustering Lipstick Review, Pictures, Swatches

Here's a lipstick that I've owned for a long time now, and I still love it.
  • Packaging:  These lipsticks come in the small black bullet-looking tubes. These are easy to store, durable, and look cute. There is no special packaging for this lipstick.
  • Product:  This lipstick has the same vanilla scent that all MAC lipsticks have. These last around 5-6 hours  on my lips.
    • Lustering: is sheer, hot pink shade with a lustre finish and blue undertones.
  • Final Thoughts: This shade of lipstick is a really fun colour to have in your MAC lipstick collection. I would definitely buy this shade again!
  • Availability: $17.50, MAC Cosmetics

MAC Cosmetic's Sun Blonde & Short Shorts: Review, Pictures, & Swatches

Please Read: I am not paid by any cosmetic companies to review any of these products. Everything I review is bought by me, and I will always give a %100 honest review.
  • Packaging:  These eyeshadows come in the traditional pot packaging, except they're white with a tiny bit of deco on the cap. I think this variation on the packaging is actually really nice. Once again, I don't see why people were making such a huge deal about the packaging on these, it's really cute and it's fun to have a small change like this.
  • Product: These are such an improvement in the recent releases from MAC Cosmetics. Each of these eyeshadows are velvety smooth, and glide on your eyes like nothing. I really love the pigmentation and longetivity in these eyeshadows.
    • Sunblonde: is a dirty yellow gold / mustard yellow gold shade with a frost finish. This shade is limited editon.
    • Short Shorts: is a light, creme shade with a frost finish. This shade is also limited edition.
  • Dupes: Sunblonde is closest to NARS Mangrove. Short Shorts is closest to MAC's Nylon.
  • Final Thoughts: These look amazing! The colours look so pretty, especially together. This was a really impressive collection from MAC, and although I think there could be many similar dupes to Short Shorts, both of these shades are worth purchasing.

MAC Cosmetic's Surf the Ocean Crushed Metallic Pigment Stack Review, Pictures, and Swatches (Picture Heavy)

Please Read: I am not paid by any cosmetic companies to review any of these products. Everything I review is bought by me, and I will always give a %100 honest review.
  • Packaging:  These pigments come in 2 different stacks, with 2 shades per stack. They come in clear tube stacks with twist on caps. Each stack is about 2.5 times larger than a regular MAC Pigment, so you're getting a really good deal on these. The regular pigments are $23.50 each (that's $94.00 in total for all four), and all four of these pigments only cost $38.50. So you're getting a pretty good deal on these shades when you buy these.
  • Product: These pigments are described as “frosty platinum, light yellow green, gold bronze, and dirty graphite with silver pearl.” Each individual shade doesn't have a name. Each of these shades are highly pigmented, and long-lasting. Although it's not necessary, the colours work better when applied wet, or mixed with a mixing medium.
    • Stack 1 / Shade 1: is a metallic bronzy-gold shade. In the pot, this shade looks like gold nuggets. See picture 2.
    • Stack 1 / Shade 2: is an iridescent, silvery, seafoam green.
    • Stack 2 / Shade 1: is a darkened navy blue shade with teal/blue shimmer.
    • Stack 2 / Shade 2: is a medium metallic silver/grey shade.
  • Final Thoughts: These look amazing! The colours are so fun and pretty. You get an amazing deal when you buy this pigment stack, and I think this is the most impressive thing MAC has released in a long time. This is definitely worth buying, it's limited edition so GO BUY IT WHILE ITS IN STOCK! It's already sold out on the Canadian MAC website, but you could try MACcosmetics.com!
