Holiday Makeup: Silver Eyes & Red Lips

Yaay more holiday looks! This is my makeup from yesterday :) I received a tube of Silver Eye Mousse from my mom a few weeks ago, and I JUST tried it out yesterday because I forgot about it, hahah. I love it! It's the colour on the lid. I also took a picture of my really cute bow (third picture) cause you can't see it very well in the second picture. :)

Simple Shopping Makeup & Testing New Camera

I got a new camera for my birthday on the 18th from my dad. I wanted to test out some of the features yesterday so I did really simple makeup because I was going Christmas shopping that day. I also received an extra $20 gift card for MAC from my friend Shane, and on top of that I got a $50 gift card for MAC from my Mom. So I'm going to MAC on the 26th to get some new stuff!

17 & Birthday Makeup!

It was my birthday yesterday! I turned 17 :3 I had a pretty busy day. My Mom gave me a $50 MAC Gift Card, and a $75 gift card to La Senza! My dad got me a new camera, and my sister got me a curling iron for my hair. Yaay :D I also wanted to post my makeup from yesterday.

Here's my third look in Holiday Makeup. View my two others here. I kept it simple, using just the 54 Palette, and some NYX. I also added some sequins to bling it up a bit. :3 I just bought hundreds and hundreds of sequins so I figured why not!

Here is part two of the 54 Shimmer Palette Breakdown. This is category A: blacks and greys. See Part 1 here.

A1: This is the closest shade to black, with shimmer.


A2: Is very similar to A1, only it's a little less dark.


A3: Is a dark silver colour with shimmer.


A4: Is medium-dark silver colour with shimmer.


A5: Is a light silver shimmery colour.


A6: Is a very light frosty silver colour with shimmer.

54 Shimmer Palette Breakdown Part 1

I use this palette a lot for makeup looks, so I am going to try and make this the easiest to understand as possible. The palette doesn't have individual names or numbers per eyeshadow. It's pretty straight-forward just by looking at the picture. The horizontal letters represent the category, and the vertical numbers represent the colour. For example: C1 would be the "colour identification" for the purple colour on top in the third row. Easy peasy, right?
