Tutorial: Dramatic Club Makeup

My friend came down from Alberta on friday, and I haven't seen her in 2 years, so we got to have fun and go out! I wanted to re-create the look I wore out on Saturday to a club, and post a tutorial for it because I loved it! Club makeup needs to be dramatic and flashy, it needs to stand out! It's a little hard to see in the thumbnail but the look is basically a dramatic black and grey smokey eye with a ton of silver glitter! :D A lot of these pictures are pretty bad, I was having a "bad camera day". Let's get started with the tutorial...

Step 1: Prime your eyelids with Urban Decay's Primer Potion.

Step 2: Apply NYX Cosmetic's Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk to your eyelid and blend it out with your finger.

Step 3: Apply Sephora's eyeshadow in Aspen Summit to your lid with a fluffy eyeshadow brush.

Step 4: Apply Maybeline's gel liner in Blackest Black to your outter third of your eyelid. try to create a small wing shape with a small eyeliner brush.

Step 5: Start blending it out with your finger, try to be careful though. You don't want to lose that wing shape.

Step 6: Apply NYX Cosmetic's eyeshadow in Black over the Blackest Black eyeliner. Blend it out really well. (Sorry for the TERRIBLE picture here)

Step 7: Apply No7's mousse eyeshadow in Pewter to your inner corner and blend it out using a small flat eyeshadow brush.

Step 8: Apply a bit of hair spray to a small flat eyeshadow brush, and then dip it in NYX Cosmetic's glitter in Silver. Apply it to your inner corner.

Step 8: Apply Benefit's Smudgeliner in Black to your bottom lashline.

Step 8: Apply a couple coats of Sephora's black mascara.

With flash.

Without flash, catches the glitter a bit better.

Gaga Inspired Wearable Silver Eyes

Gagaouuulalla. I was watching the Pokerface music video and I got inspired by Lady Gaga's silver eyes. I had originally done the hair bow, but I wanted to make it wearable so I took it out. Cute idea for parties. :)

How-To: Start off by applying NYX Cosmetic's Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk all over your lid and crease, blend it out with your finger up to your brow bone. Then apply No7's Eye Mousse in Pewter all over your lid, and blend it up to your brow bone. On the 88 Palette, apply the top right silver colour, wet, to your eyelid. Taking the darker silver colour directly underneath that, again wet, to your crease and blend upwards. Take a clean synthetic brush, and spray a bit of hair spray on the end, then dip it in the NYX Cosmetic's Glitter Mania pot in Silver to your eyelid for a fun touch. Apply NYX Cosmetic's Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk to your waterline. Then spoolie out your lashes, and applying Maybeline's Falsies Lashes Mascara in Black. Finish the look with NYX Cosmetic's Peach lipgloss.

No7 Stay Perfect Mousse in Pewter Review

The soft Mousse-Like cream glides on for a luminous sheer veil of continuous colour. (£9.00 per 5ML or £18.00 per 10ML)
  • Packaging: These 5ml mousses come in a small plastic  package, coloured based on the name and colour of the product. This specific package is a silver-bronze. The cap is a screw-on.
  • Product: Pewter is almost a thin type of mousse cream. It goes on very smootly and theres no creasing. The colour comes out as a sheer bronzy-silvery colour. A base may be necessary if you want more colour payoff.
  • Final Thoughts: I would recommend these mousses for anyone who wants a good cream coloured eyeshadow for a good price. These are definitely worth their cost.
  • Availability: Boot's No7
