MAC Lipstick Comparisons: Pink Nouveau, Pink Friday & Viva Glam Gaga

Ever since I got MAC's Pink Friday lipstick I wanted to compare it to Pink Nouveau and Viva Glam Gaga. The first thing I noticed is that Pink Nouveau is the darkest of all three shades, although it is not dark. Viva Glam Gaga is obviously the lightest, but it also has more of a cool blue undertone.
  • Pink Nouveau: Is a bright medium pink with a satin finish.
  • Pink Friday: Is about a bright creamy pink, also a satin finish.
  • Viva Glam Gaga: Is a pale pink lipstick with a cool blue undertone. This lipstick has a lustre finish.
  • Availability: $17.50 each, MAC Cosmetics

Lip Art: Crab

I did this really cute crab lips look. (Hahahaha, yes, crabs on my face) ANYWAYS.. it was inspired by a makeup artist I found on deviantART. Ill post the link when I find it again!

Product Used:
- Cockney Lipstick by MAC Cosmetics
- True Red Lipliner by NYX Cosmetics
- Black Liquid Liner by GOSH

How-To: Day to Night Makeup

I did a really simple look today, and I decided to show an easy way to change a bright day look- to a nice evening look.

Here's the original look. I used two green colours from the 88 Palette by BH cosmetics. I wore this look out to work, so yes it's faded. I'll show you how to fix it. :D

First thing you want to do is take a fluffy blending brush and blend a dark green or a black into the crease. Im using the black on the 88 Palette.

Add a bit of glitter to your inner corners or bottom lashline. A shimmery eyeshadow also works well. I am using Annabelle's Liquid Glitter Eyeliner in Green.

There are many different ways you can do this. This is basically the easiest way for me.

Estée Lauder Eyeshadow Duo in Tea Biscuit

I love these duos!
  • Packaging: This eyeshadow duo comes in a rectangular dark navy blue plastic container. Inside there is a mirror, and a small sponge brush with the eyeshadows.
  • Product: The left colour is a light vanilla colour with shimmer. The right side colour is a medium bronze-brown colour with a bit of shimmer. Both of these eyeshadows are silky smooth and go on easily.
  • Final Thoughts: I would recommend these eyeshadow duos. They`re $25 each, so I wouldn`t recommend them for anyone on a tight budget.
  • Availability: $25, Estee Lauder
