Tutorial: Lady Marmalade Inspired

Here's a look I did inspired by Christina Aguilera's look in the Lady Marmalade music video. It's very Moulin Rouge. She wears super dramatic black and red makeup. For the hair, all you need to do is tease (backcomb) your hair all over. Hahaha fun stuff. Here's the tutorial.

Step 1: Using a large concealer brush, apply Bobbi Brown's concealer under your eyes.

Step 2: Apply a light foundation, you want your skin to look pale.

Step 3: Set your foundation with a translucent powder.

Step 4: Apply the bright red colour from the 88 Palette to the middle of your lids.

Step 5: Apply the black colour on the 88 Palette to your inner corners and the outter third.

Step 6: Blend it into the crease.

Step 7: Blend blend blend!

Step 8: Apply that same red colour to the top of your cheekbone and blend outwards.

Step 9: Using the same black colour, go over the crease again with it and blend even more outwards.

Step 10: Highlight your brow bone with the white colour on the 88 Palette.

Step 11: Using a thin eyeliner brush, apply Blackest Black Gel Eyeliner by maybeline to your upper lashline and create a cat eye.

Step 12: Apply Ardell's false lashes in Romantic. I use my fingers to apply them; a personal preference.

Step 13: While the eyelash glue is drying, apply NYX Cosmetic's jumbo eye pencil in Milk to your waterline.

Step 14: Using Benefit's smudgeliner in black, apply a thick line to your lowerlashline.

Step 15: Apply MAC Cosmetic's Cockney Lipstick, some jewelery and you're finished!
